Describe enough to price the request
For doors, count the locks and explain whether you need entry, a repair or a key change. For a car, include the year and model plus any key that still works. Mention restricted access or a separate parking level. The service overview can help you organize a call around the result instead of a guessed part.
Ask what the total includes
Check any attendance or assessment charge, the work itself, proposed parts, finished keys and applicable taxes. Ask what would be payable if you decide against further work. Have assumptions explained, including suitability of existing hardware or support for a vehicle system. The website does not publish a fixed menu of charges; the proposal needs to relate to the actual request.
Give changes their own decision
If assessment finds another fault or a different approach is proposed, ask for the reason and revised amount before authorizing it. Keep access, repair and key-control work clear in the agreement. A useful estimate lets the responsible person understand both the intended result and the conditions behind it.
